Ascension Island is a British Overseas Territory which, together
with St Helena and Tristan da Cunha, forms a single territorial
grouping under the sovereignty of the British Crown.
The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) plays a large part
in the administration of Ascension Island as well as maintaining
a link between Ascension Island and Her Majesty's Government.
