Ascension Island Government operates a fully equipped modern
Dental Surgery offering a range of Dental Services that
include Restorative, Cosmetic, Prosthetic, Orthodontic
and Surgical Dentistry.
The Dental surgery.
Denture, Crown and Bridgework is all done with lab work being sent to one of
the UK`s largest private Dental Laboratories.
A six-monthly recall system is in place for all patients.
Routine treatment is offered free to all Ascension Island tax payers and MOD
personnel with fees in place for non tax payers. All prosthetic lab fees are
paid by the patient.
The service is provided by a UK qualified Dental Surgeon assisted by a Dental
Nurse.
The Dental Clinic operates morning and afternoon surgeries each week day on an
appointment basis with emergency after hours dental treatment provided on a call
out system.
